Counselling and Psychotherapy

Experience has shown that the most common reasons people seek counselling are depression, stress and anxiety, eating disorders, relationship problems and sexual issues. However, there is no limit to the kinds of issues that can be discussed in therapy and all discussions are confidential.

Counselling usually addresses a specific problem, such as work related stress, relationship issues, panic attacks, worrying or unwanted thoughts and depression to name just a few. It will help you find better ways to cope and takes place on a weekly basis. It is generally short term.

Psychotherapy focuses on a broader range of issues which lead us to behave and think in certain ways. It is usually long term and offers a deeper personal insight.

Both counselling and psychotherapy can help you achieve a happier and more fulfilling life by bringing about changes in the way you think and behave; balancing mind and wellbeing
